Remedy

When the affairs of truth take shape
Future compares the glue of the past in case
An evil was planted
Cemented with credentialed achievements
So we would believe this
Conceive a notion beneath us
Just because he does
Realize the proof and get past time
Consume the crook that stole your mind
Unwind by the spindle to create a window
Then go forever past where men go
Second star to the right and straight on until morning
Past the fountain of youth until elegance bores you
Then breathe with ease as the pain pours out
Reason being the key is it’s a shameful route
One less traveled so have it all to yourself
Confess your steps and explore the grounds
Vision of answers will take place
With rhythm of precision focused through hate
Create a text felt through age’s page
Laced with mace so verbs can’t escape
Hesitation remains the battle shown on your face
Difference now is you’ve acquired the strength
To not succumb
Your style is relevant and you’re the only one
See the clouds go as the moon starts to snow
No more roaming because you’re finally home

Never Land

The wicked sense of a twisted wretch
Maintains the second blend of what comes next
Confusion compiles and runs thicker than the Nile
Flowing freedom, at lease for awhile
Take a drink soak it in
Because what comes after is worse than sin
An immovable pin in your side
Remember that pain made you feel alive
Even though you didn’t win
Contribute to the doctrine
That releases love within
So then the pain subsides
Without producing incarcerated lives
You toe tip the water scared of the cold
So you hold the sun and watch the clay mold
Hoping for a safe stroll down memory lane
But traffic left me gutted and back where I came
Told what would happen and started relaxing
Enjoyed the view and became a wax statue
A replica of past actions
Inhaling regret and stuck in last class
A futuristic past refrains from the truth
Spoke the word but only lies got through
Filtered by tattoos of blades piercing the skin
And a fat fool in shades fearing the wind
Cotton gin wrapped up in time release
Screaming at mine to put my mind at ease
Sick of this world so I booked a flight to sea
Poseidon threw me back on earth’s highest peak
Followed my feet towards the wisest sheik
Obsolete deeds proceeded my flee
Until apprehended with a mended decree
Left me broken with no air to breathe
Now with dusty vision and a clear path to see
I’m left feeling lucky
In prison enjoying walls that bleed

Soulmate by King Rodney Blanco

Soulmate by King Rodney Blanco

King Rodney Blanco, the new age artist with ideas only experienced G's can relate to! Take a listen and I promise, if you catch all of the themes, it will change your life. Manic depression, bi-polar disorder, psychodelics, and more...enjoy!

HBO - Boardwalk Empire

Alright, check it! Not only is Steve Buscemi coming out, with what looks like a kick ass new HBO series, but Scorsese is directing the "pilot". I mean, this can't be a flop, right? I don't think Mr. Scorsese, himself, would ever sign on to construct a project if he knew it wouldn't be appealing to 90% of the human population. His genius is already bleeding through the trailer. Along with Buscemi's portrayal of the 1920's gangster/politician "Nucky Thompson", you've got Michael Pitt, Shea Whigham, and Michael Shannon bringing their touch to the old time gangster era.

The Social Network - Trailer

I thought a movie documenting Myspace wold come out before Facebook. I think JT might enjoy this one. From the trailer to research of the film, it seems that Justin brings his "A" game. Along with Jesse Eisenberg, age 24, who takes on a lead role in a film of intelligence. He looks the role, I hope he can maintain the great acting from movies like "Rodger Dodger" and "The Squid and the Whale". David Fincher, "Fight Club" and "se7en", is along for this ride, as well. Automatically, we know it going to be good! I think its only right that we spend the money on this movie...he did give us Facebook for free, and since there's actually 500,000,000 Friends on there, we should all be thankful! Disagree? tell me why!

Mickey Rourke

Ok, how in the hell does Mickey Rourke go from the good looking cat he was to the roided out, "hunchback of Notre Dame" looking fool he is now? I just watched a movie called "9 1/2 Weeks" with him and Kim Basinger. I'm telling you, Rourke from the 80's and Rourke from the 90's are two completely different people. He went from looking like Bruce Willis from "Die Hard" to the hunchback, i swear! Ya, he's taking care of business nowadays, but it doesn't change the fact that he's a completely different person. I miss the good ol' Mickey!!!

Inception

Inception was a mind blowing case of good people testing the rules of reality. Going into a dream in order to alter the ideas of men. Leonardo DiCaprio conveys the raw emotional side of losing the love of his life, along with knowing what he still had to live for. An incredible cast along side him in Joseph Gordan-Levitt and Ellen Page bring the incredible athleticism and intelligence to a film where it is much needed. Who would have thought that young actors, such as these, would have brought such an intriguing insight to the human mind? Gordan-Levitt and Page show the maturity of experienced actors in the young lives they've lived. I was much impressed with both performances. Not far behind, Tom Hardy brings a suave touch to the all-knowing personality. He includes humor and certainty in a world where spontaneity is absolute. Christopher Nolan, although he only put Michael Caine in two scenes, he's shown another example of mastering the incredible feats of "big budget" film making.

Please feel free to agree or disagree...
